Soarin’ Across America Coming to EPCOT and Disney California Adventure in Summer 2026

Soarin’ to tower, we are ready for take off! And this time, we’ll be taking off across America! That’s because Disney has announced that the attraction Soarin’ will be receiving an update. The attraction will now be known as Soarin’ Across America and it will debut in Summer 2026 at both EPCOT and Disney California Adventure!

The new offering at both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort will showcase the United States highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. This updated attraction will feature the iconic elements that make Soarin’ unforgettable including the flight, the sights and score, even the scents! Walt Disney Imagineering is hard at work capturing more than a dozen breathtaking locations for the new flight. (Wait…they said capturing….so, Disney hear my pleas….NO CGI in this version!!! Please!!!!!!)

This change is being done in celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America, which, can you believe it, is NEXT YEAR?! This update replaces Soarin’ Around the World which debuted in 2016.

Can I just say how excited I am about this change? We actually mentioned how much we wanted to see this on a recent episode of the Be Our Guest Podcast. I mentioned how I really rarely ride the Soarin’ Around the World version, because the CGI just takes me out of the attraction. It’s not nearly as enjoyable as Soarin’ Over California was. I am extremely hopeful for this version!
