New Details About Closing Date for Dinosaur

It’ll soon be time to say goodbye to Dinosaur! The attraction will be closing to make way for the upcoming retheme of the Tropical Americas land. So, when will your last chance be to ride the attraction? Well, no official date was given just yet, but Disney did shared that you’ll be able to visit throughout 2025 before the attraction goes extinct.

As a reminder, Dinosaur will be rethemed into an Indiana Jones attraction. It will still feature the same layout, but will definitely see major updates to tell this new story.  Best of all, this will be an attraction different from any other Indiana Jones experience around the world.

In this new venture, Indy has recently discovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and it’s time to explore it. He’s heard rumors about a mythical creature deep within the temple, so he’s got to see it for himself and brings us along on the adventure.

As a reminder, part of Dinoland U.S.A. will be closing on January 12, 2025. The attractions and more impacted will include TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures gift shop.

Tropical Americas will open beginning in 2027.
