Kali River Rapids Closes for at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Annual Refurbishment

Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has closed for its scheduled annual refurbishment.

Each year, this attraction closes in the winter for a refurbishment due to maintenance. This is due to the fact that it is a water attraction that needs a little extra TLC to keep it in optimal shape.

Disney has yet to announce an official reopening date, but has said it is planned to reopen mid-March 2025.
