Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Opens November 4

©Disney

Get ready for the coolest water park ever to reopen! That’s because Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will officially reopen from its refurbishment on November 4, 2024! This water park is known for being the ski resort on the melt down with lots of fun attractions, activities, and dining!

Blizzard Beach provides something for everyone with both thrills and ways to chill. Younger guests can splash in the semi-new “Frozen”-themed Tike’s Peak. Here they’ll find wading pools featuring “melting” snow with Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the “Snowgies.”

Blizzard Beach also has the scariest thing (in my opinion) – Summit Plummet. This water slide features a 12-story peak where Guests plunge 360 feet into the water. (My husband did this on the day we got engaged. He said he was taking the plunge later that night, so taking the plunge for Summit Plummet should be nothing.) For those looking to unwind, Cross Country Creek offers a peaceful float along the 3,000-foot lazy river.

Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass

Oh and this year, the Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass is back! The best part is that it’s available for only $79 plus tax! Trust me…this is an awesome deal, if you can take advantage of it! This returning, limited-time offer provides admission through May 23, 2025. It gives Guests the flexibility to enjoy Typhoon Lagoon through November 3 and then Blizzard Beach starting this fall.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Water Park Perk

Oh and as a reminder, in 2025, Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can start their stay with a water park day! Disney Resorts hotel Guests arriving in 2025 can enjoy water park admission on check-in day—included with your stay. Yep, you read right….you can visit a Walt Disney World water park for FREE on arrival day!
