It’s time to get your splash on this summer! That’s because the Disney H2O Glow After Hours is returning once again at the Walt Disney World Resort.
This fun-filled event allows Guests to enjoy Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon after the sun goes down and after the park closes for the day. H2O Glow After Hours is a limited-capacity event that invites Guests to experience the park in a whole different way! That’s because the park is illuminated for the event with fun lighting and decor! Oh and you can experience favorite attractions with minimal waits! Attractions include:
Other highlights include a DJ dance party, the ability to see favorite Disney characters, oh and there’s the perk of being able to enjoy complimentary ice cream, popcorn, and select beverages!. There will also be additional snacks that can be purchased at select locations across the park. These snacks are usually created specifically for the event!
Disney H2O Glow After Hours takes place on select nights from May 25 to August 31, 2024. This event takes place from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. However, Guests can enter the park beginning at 6:00 PM.

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green can purchase event tickets early beginning March 19, 2024. All other Guests may purchase tickets online beginning March 22, 2024.
I was supposed to attend this event back in 2022, however I found out that I was pregnant and immediately started getting horrible morning sickness, causing me to have to cancel this trip. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty bummed that I couldn’t attend. I think I may still have a credit for this event, since I didn’t end up going and it’s still on my Disney bucket list of things to get to go to. Maybe this year will be the year! It seems like an incredibly fun event and a great add on to a summer vacation!
