Darth Vader and Chewbacca Meet and Greets Move Due to Star Wars: Launch Bay’s Closure

If you’re planning to meet your favorite Star Wars characters, there’s been a location change at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With Star Wars: Launch Bay now closed to make way for the new Animation Experience (which is opening in 2026), Darth Vader and Chewbacca have moved to new meet-and-greet locations in the park.

Where to Meet Darth Vader in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Guests will now find Darth Vader meeting in Echo Lake near Star Tours – The Adventures Continue.

Where to Meet Chewbacca in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Guests who are looking for Chewbacca will find him in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. He’ll be near the Millennium Falcon.
