Changes Coming to Multiple Disney’s Animal Kingdom Restaurants

More changes are coming for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as the Tropical Americas project in the location of basically now the former Dinoland U.S.A., marches forwards.

Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks Set To Close in October 2025

Both Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks will serve their final Guests on October 19. These two quick stand dining establishments will officially close on October 20, 2025.

Fear not, Buffalo Chicken Chips lovers! You’ll still be able to get the popular snack at Eight Spoons Cafe on Discovery Island.

Harambe Market to Temporarily Close for Refurbishment

Moving over to Harambe Market found in the Africa section of the park, this quick service location will temporarily close on October 20, 2025, as work begins to update the location, which will serve burgers and chicken strips once Restaurantosaurus officially closes next year. Restaurantosaurus’ last day of operation will be February 1, 2026.

When Harambe Market closes, Guests will be able to find lunch items like the Harambe Chicken Bowl and Harissa Chicken Wrap at Kusafiri Bakery.

Reminder: Dinosaur Closing In February 2026

As a reminder, Dinosaur will also see its last day of operation on February 1, 2026 to make way for the updated Indiana Jones attraction.

What’s Coming Next for Disney’s Animal Kingdom?

As a reminder, the Tropical Americas section is being constructed in the former location of Dinoland U.S.A. This new section will include:

• A ride-through attraction based on Encanto
• A thrilling Indiana Jones adventure
• A new carousel featuring animals from Disney films
• Updated dining locations and vibrant landscaping inspired by Latin American culture
