Epic Universe Opening Day Details

It’s happening!!! This week we’ll officially see the opening of a brand new theme park in Orlando! It’s a whole new universe and Universal Orlando Resort will be celebrating with a grand opening day ceremony! Here’s what you you need to know, if you’re visiting Universal Epic Universe on opening day, May 22!

Guests will be able to take part in an brief celebratory moment beginning at 8:00 a.m. as the portals to these new worlds at Epic Universe are opened for the first time, officially.

While the park hours are 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., Guests can begin entering the Epic Universe parking lot starting at 6:00 a.m. (This includes ride share drop off too.) Shuttle busses from the Universal Orlando Resort Hotels will begin at 6:00 a.m., as well.

Turnstiles at both the Chronos front entrances, as well as Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open beginning at 7:00 a.m.

You’ll then be able to head to the location for the opening day ceremony. (Or get your spot for when the portal you want to check out first opens!)
