2025 Butterbeer Season Starts Soon

Get ready, witches, wizards, and muggles! Universal Orlando Resort is celebrating Butterbeer Season once again! This time Butterbeer Season will last from March 1 through May 31, 2025.

So, just what is Butterbeer Season? Well, plain and simple, it’s a time to “Enjoy Butterbeer with your friends.” What makes it even better is that for Butterbeer Season, Universal Orlando even introduces new limited-time treats and merch inspired by the iconic Harry Potter drink.

During Butterbeer Season, for a limited time, this year, you’ll be able to enjoy the new Butterbeer Cream Puff and the Butterbeer Candy Bar. Both of which sound delicious!

Returning for 2025 will be the ice lolly that features the Butterbeer flavor in popsicle form. Plus, Butterbeer gummies in a Souvenir Butterbeer Cart will be available. You can also celebrate your favorite Wizarding World beverage with new merchandise themed to the beloved drink. For example,  you can enjoy cold and frozen in a limited-edition gold souvenir stein.

Don’t know what Butterbeer is? Well, it’s iconic in Harry Potter lore. It’s mentioned many times in both the books and the movies. Butterbeer has flavors that are reminiscent of both butterscotch and shortbread, though I definitely taste some vanilla too. It is available in a bunch of different ways, including cold, frozen, hot (my personal favorite, which I can drink even when it’s 100 degrees outside), and in a non-dairy version. For those who maybe don’t want to drink it, it’s also available in fudge, potted cream, and ice cream form.

Other companies are also getting in on the butterbeer bandwagon this year. I recently purchased Butterbeer Hershey Kisses!
