Plaza de la Familia Returns to Disney California Adventure for 2025

You won’t want to miss the return of Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure from August 22 through November 2, 2025.

This celebration takes place at at Paradise Gardens Park and is inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos. This year the event will once again feature live entertainment from the “Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!” There will also be delicious Mexican cuisine, artful crafts and a special photo opportunity with a hand-animated dimensional figure of Miguel.

There’s also a tradition of visiting the Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) and adding a note of remembrance to the memory wall.
