On your mark, get set, go! The theme for the runDisney 2025 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend has been announced and it celebrates all things Disney Villains. This race, which is back for a second year, is happening September 4-7, 2025. The race weekend features four days of events including yoga, Kids Races, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Challenge. The courses will race through the theme parks, and around the surrounding areas. Let’s take a look at this year’s individual themed events!
Slink through Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure for 3.1 miles with Ursula, the sea witch, as your host.
Run 6.2 miles through Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure in a race hosted by Cruella De Vil.
Maleficent invites you to slay 13.1 miles through Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure and surrounding areas.
Finish both the 10K and half marathon for a total of 19.3 miles and receive a bonus Challenge medal featuring Pain and Panic from Hercules!
Younger athletes can run toward a pirate’s life with Captain Hook.
An early morning stretch can help you keep calm and start your race weekend by balancing your mind, body and spirit. Hosted by the Queen of Hearts, participants can start their morning enjoying the unique opportunity to do yoga with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle before the park opens. Plus, experience special photo opportunities and appearances by some of your favorite Disney characters.
Disney has also announced details for another of the races in the 2025 runDisney race season. The 2025 Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend will take place from October 23-26, 2025. Club runDisney Registration opens on February 4, 2025 and General Registration opens on February 11, 2025.
