Oh I just can’t wait to dine like a king! And guess what? Soon I will be able to at the brand new restaurant on the Disney Destiny Disney Cruise Line ship called Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King!
This new restaurant will offer a dinner and a show! It will be a first-of-its-kind Disney dining experience, bringing the iconic songs and legendary moments of the renowned animated classic to life for your family throughout dinner.
While you dine at Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King, live musicians and storytellers will present a musical journey through “The Lion King” soundtrack. They will use authentic African instruments and theatrical props to represent the story and characters.
Overall, the show will be a musical retelling of Simba’s journey to triumph over his uncle and claim his rightful place as king of Pride Rock.
Performances will include:
Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King will be one of your rotational dining options on the Disney Destiny. With rotational dining on Disney Cruise Line all Guests get to enjoy each of the 3 themed dining venues while on board. Guests will receive your restaurant schedule and table number upon arrival by checking your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
Then, each evening, you, your tablemates and servers will rotate to a different restaurant. As you rotate, the same wait staff will serve you each night while you get to experience the unique atmosphere of each dining venue. The cool thing about having the same wait staff each and every night is they know your preferences. For example, I actually drink a lot of milk and each and every night on my Disney Cruises, after the first night, my serving team would make sure that when I sat down, I had a glass of milk waiting for me!
The Disney Destiny will debut in 2025. The Disney Destiny will be a sister ship to the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure and this ship draws inspiration from favorite Disney Heroes and Villains!
I love this new dining experience option! I think it’s going to be a great addition to the Disney Destiny and think it’s a great choice for dinner and a show!
But now, I want to know your thoughts. Do you like the new dining option Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King? You can share with me in the comments or on social! Find me on Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, Threads, and TikTok.
