Mickey and Minnie to Debut New Looks for Lookout Cay

When Guests step off the Disney Cruise Line ship at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on the island of Eleuthera, they will see Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed especially for the newest island destination. The garments will have a distinct Bahamian flair. It has been inspired by the bright, colorful spirit of Junkanoo. Junkanoo is the country’s signature festival filled with joyous music and vibrant parades.

When Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point opens in June of 2024, Mickey and Minnie’s looks will be part of a collection of colorful works of art by local creators. And the best part is that you’ll see and experience all this great art throughout the new island destination.

A fun fact about Mickey an Minnie’s outfits – Eleuthera is known for its pineapples, which have been incorporated into their threads.

In addition to Mickey and Minnie having unique looks, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip ‘n’ Dale will also have looks. These will be created with inspiration of visiting Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

One thing is for sure. I am absolutely excited to finally get the chance to visit Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
