On board Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure, the vibrant town of Santa Cecilia awakens at Plaza De Coco, the world’s first theatrical dining experience themed to the Disney and Pixar film, “Coco.” Miguel and his familia will take guests on a colorful, music-filled journey that celebrates treasured family memories and togetherness with a festive dinner menu that offers a modern twist on traditional Mexican fare and a lineup of live entertainment. Guests who step into Plaza de Coco will be transported into the picturesque town depicted in the Pixar film, “Coco.” When Guests dine here, they will enjoy in traditional recipes from the Rivera family’s kitchen, as well as enjoy a modern menu that will capture the flavors of Miguel’s world. Guests will experience two unique, celebratory evenings full of food and theatrical entertainment during their Disney Treasure voyage.
The musical Disney Cruise Line meal will begin with appetizer options like Abuelita Elena Shrimp Diabla with chili-chipotle sauce, cilantro, pickled red onion and toasted birotes, or Chorizo Street Croquettes with chili-lime crema, cotija cheese and cilantro. You can also enjoy a Blistered Poblano Pepper stuffed with Oaxaca cheese and green rice.
Entrees will include dishes like Luisa’s Pollo Asado, which features Michoacán citrus chicken, cilantro rice and serrano-tomatillo salsa; Enrique’s Port Wine Braised Center Cut Beef Short Rib with cheddar cheese and green onion red mash, and long green beans with crisp shallots; Pan-Seared Adobo Spiced Sea Bass with seared scallops, rainbow carrots, spinach, romanesco, peas and chimichurri sauce; and Red Capsicum and Green Parsley Grilled Snapper with fried yucca, refried beans, baby spinach and pico de gallo.
Dessert will feature things like Margarita Lime Cheesecake with a sea salt shortbread and raspberry-agave margarita coulis; Mexican Chocolate Tart with spiced chocolate crème, caramel pecan nuts and chocolate glaze; and Warm Coconut Tres Leches featuring milk-soaked coconut cake, caramel sauce and dulce de leche ice cream.
