Disney Cruise Line

Edna Á La Mode Sweets, Café Megara and Café Merida Will Be Found on the Disney Destiny

One of the fun pieces on a Disney Cruise Line ship are the sweet shops! They are a great place to grab a sweet treat or gelato (for an extra cost, of course) to enjoy! On the Disney Destiny, Guests will be able to pick up some deliciousness at Edna Mode’s lab, called Edna Á La Mode Sweets. Here, the famed fashion designer from Pixar’s “The Incredibles” whips up not only outfits for the world’s most famous Supers, but also delicious confections.

This space will be inspired by the “Auntie Edna” short. Edna’s sewing equipment will be repurposed as sweet-making devices!

This dessert spot will serve up handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats served in a space full of bolts of fabric and costume models. Guests will also find fun sculptures of both Edna and Jack-Jack! (And we bet there will probably be some of those delicious Num-Num cookies that Jack-Jack likes so much!)

Café Megara & Café Merida on the Disney Destiny

If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I actually adore Meg from “Hercules”. She really is me. So, imagine my excitement to learn that just off the Grand Hall on the Disney Destiny, there will be a café that’s themed to my favorite Disney heroine!

But she’s not the only Disney heroine to be noticed. Merida from “Brave” is also getting her own café too!

Café Megara, will pay homage to “Hercules” with a unique and vibrant “Greco disco” design, and Café Merida, will be an area that will be inspired by “Brave” with its Celtic-centered design. Both cafes will offer a selection of coffee, tea, specialty beverages and snacks.

Disney has also shared today that a brand new rotational dining experience will be coming to the Disney Destiny called Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King.

The Disney Destiny will debut in 2025 and is a sister ship to the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure that draws inspiration from favorite Disney Heroes and Villains!

But now, I want to know your thoughts. What do you think about this new sweet shop and two cafes for the Disney Destiny? You can share with me in the comments or on social! Find me on FacebookXYouTubeInstagram, Threads, and TikTok.
