Disney Destiny Will Be The Next Disney Cruise Line Ship

Get ready for the next ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet! That’s because soon, Guests will be able to sail on the Disney Destiny!

The first details of this new ship are being released! The Disney Destiny will be a sister ship to the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure and this ship will draw inspiration from Heroes and Villains!

When developing the Disney Destiny, Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering teams were inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story. Onboard, Guests will encounter heroes and villains including those from stories like “The Lion King,” “Hercules” and “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”.

To embody and embolden the theme, Disney also unveiled brand-new filigree artwork for the bow of the Disney Destiny. Minnie Mouse is depicted in a heroic ensemble. Guests will see her cape waving majestically in the sea breeze.

The Disney Destiny is set to debut in 2025. No official date has been shared. As a reminder, the Disney Treasure will debut at the end of 2024 and the upcoming Disney Adventure will also debut in 2025. (The Disney Adventure will homeport in Singapore!)

We also don’t know when bookings will officially open, nor where the ship will be sailing. We’ll make sure to share those details when we learn them!

Final Thoughts

Gotta admit….I am not in love with the name Disney Destiny. I do love that this ship will focus on the heroes and villains though. I think we’ll be able to explore a lot of unique areas of the ship due to this duality. Either way, I cannot wait to get on this ship, eventually when she debuts in 2025.
